Lady Gaga & Marc Jacobs Covers V Magazine!

Lady Gaga is channeling another famous Lady on the cover of latest issue of V Magazine–Lady Liberty, that is. Gaga, as always, put her own spin on the iconic figure, donning a black bra and panties and a crown made of pale blonde hair. Designer Marc Jacobs also shares the cover in a sleek black tuxedo. Inside, a world-weary Jacobs pushes a bedraggled Lady Gaga–wearing some fierce, vertigo-inducing platforms–in a shopping cart. It looks like they’ve got a long way to go to Ellis Island.

Here’s what V Magazine editor Stephen Gan had to say about the cover and Gaga:

 "'Just as the Statue of Liberty was France’s gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York’s greatest gift to pop culture and fashion. She embodies everything V is about, and is also a beacon of the city’s creativity and hope. Exactly one year after her first V cover (the first fashion magazine cover she was on), we decided to do The New York issue, and she was the first person who came to mind to represent our great city. In the year that’s passed, she has become a bonafire genius and we can safely declare her our muse. Above all, a New York issue should celebrate people who’ve done great things. We at V are grateful Gaga came along to put the New back in New York!"'

My eye is always looking for something new and fashion. And this season clogs was on my shopping list. I bought them from Topshop *version of Chanel's wooden clogs*. They are comfortable, and yes, they give me  the height of a platform without the bunions.

 Camel tones are HOT on the autumn winter 2010. Beige, camelare are the perfect tones for the new knit items. Honey Yellow is the foundation tone for all the camel coats this autumn.This season, if a head-to-toe camel outfit seems to be too much, mix camel with denim or other autumnal shades, like copper, golden brown, red-brown or mahogany.

I like camel because yes, it’s classic and it’s accessible. It’s not something that looks too cheap when it’s made cheaply, like velvet
